Applying Technology

We specialise in the use of IBM transactional technologies as a base; namely IBM WebSphere: Message Queuing, Message Brokers, InterChange Servers, WBI Adapters and Process Servers. On top of these base technologies we add our own custom developed nodes, parsers, flows, collaborations, and processes.

We also support environments built on IBM TXSeries Encina and CICS.

IBM splits Encina from Distributed CICS

Nine years after combining the Encina and Distributed CICS products, IBM have finally seperated them again. After years of strugling with the focus of its TXSeries product, it has removed Encina from TXSeries version 6, switching back to the non-Encina based codebase. Users of Encina will need to remain on version 5 of TXSeries, although IBM will support this version until April 2009. TX Squared are probably the only partner in the world with an understanding of both products in the TXSeries environment and how the codebases are being managed.
