WebSphere MQ can play a cruicial part in providing secure, reliable and transaction infrastructure in projects such as road charging where transactions are produced asynchronously in various locations,
and need to be passed around internally between parts of the application.
Having an asynchronous model is critical to overall availability of these complex systems.
In addition to providing base infrastructure with MQ (and possibly MQ Everyplace to transport transactions directly from the roadside), WBI integration software (Message Broker, Adapters, etc.)
can be effectively used to route and manage transactions.
